Mother’s Day Activation at Fun Socks

For Mothers’ Day, I wanted to do something extra-special, so I included tiny floral watercolors on the personalized gift tags that I penned for customers at the Fun Socks store in SoHo, New York. Sitting in the window is a lot of fun for a few reasons. People are intrigued by calligraphy, as the tools are somewhat unfamiliar to them. They like to stop, watch and ask questions about the process. It’s also satisfying to help people put their feelings into words, especially for their moms.

I like to imagine the mothers who received these cards, and hope they are delighted by the gift of handwriting.

Wishing everyone a very happy Mothers’ Day!
